Ukusa has become known as ‘the room with the view’ with panoramic views over-looking the Drakensberg Mountains. Frequent visits from our resident plains game, just beyond the realms of our guests private deck, is a bonus for any nature-loving adventure-seeker.

Enjoy your morning cuppa as you look out on to the World’s Highest Tugela Waterfalls and the Unesco World Heritage Site of Royal Natal National Park- an area showcasing magnificent hikes.

Our tented units have been designed with the natural elements in mind. A three-layered insulted roof, canvas panels, fold away doors and concrete walls and floors creates a perfect indoor environment to enjoy the chilly winters and hot summers.

Sleeping provisions can be made for small children, please enquire when making a booking.

Each unit is accessed on paths ranging from about 80m from the main unit.
